Hanford Chemical Processing Long-Range Plan; Fiscal year 1990
This document presents the Hanford Chemical Processing Long Range Plan (HCPLRP) for Fiscal Year (FY) 1990. The HCPLRP provides production missions for the Chemical Processing activities at Hanford through FY 2005. The Plan provides technical basis for outyear capital budget planning. As such, this document provides the methodology for prioritization of capital funds and identifies when decisions need to be made in regard to mission flexibility and funding approval. This document identifies the capital improvements and technology development required to maintain the processing capability to meet the defined goals and operating schedules of the mission alternatives. Further, this document provides a plan which programs (i.e., Waste Management, Defense Reactors, Environmental, Landlord) and other Hanford activities can use as a basis for future planning. This document also provides the basis for the preparation of the five year budget forecast. 14 refs., 9 figs., 17 tabs.
