Progress is reported on studies of the chemistry of trace metals in Alaskan estuaries and sub-arctic lakes. Data are included on the distribution of Cu in drainage area of Resurrection Bay and in a partially isolated Alaskan fjord; the distribution of dissolved Al and association with sediments in a sub-arctic lake; and methods for measurement of the content of trace amounts of Ag, Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn in seawater samples.
