We present a general discussion of the vortex-lattice state on a triangular lattice. The vortex-lattice state is characterized as the noncollinear triple-{bold Q} spin-density-wave state with higher harmonics and stabilized near half filling in the itinerant-fermion system. Various types of the vortex-lattice states are presented by utilizing the Hubbard model within a mean-field approximation, and we show how the excess particles or holes are properly accommodated in a midgap state created inside the main gap of the energy spectrum.
