A control valve assembly with a single diaphragm is controlled by the subatmospheric pressure created at an induction passage slot traversed by the edge of the throttle and by the superatmospheric pressure occurring in the exhaust passage. The valve controls recirculation of exhaust gases from the intake manifold exhaust crossover passage to the intake manifold induction passages.
