The performance indicators in this report have been chosen as a result of the following: Operations Reviews with the Westinghouse Hanford Company (WHC) Management Council, and the WHC Council for Excellence. The Management Council indicators are considered to be a representative measure of overall company performance. Similarly, the Council for Excellence indicators are considered to be a representative measure of Total Quality within WHC. The report is intended to provide management with a means of quickly assessing current WHC performance in selected key areas. It should also provide a means of anticipating potential problems and areas needing improvement, as indicated by developing trends, so that corrective action may be taken in a timely manner. Management Integration and Evaluation publishes and distributes this report to all WHC Level 1 and 2 managers, and key DOE-RL personnel. The report is based on information provided by the responsible organizations in their monthly operations reports to the President, WHC.
