Characteristics of filters from loosely poured metal powders

An experimental study is carried out of the key operating characteristics of granular filters from metal powders. The effectiveness of regeneration of a granular filter was studied by the liquid blow-back method at a pressure drop across the layer of 0.17 MPa, as a function of duration and frequency of regeneration. The optimum regeneration time was 90 sec.
