Research and accomplishments are summarized in the following four areas: 1.1 - Architectural Design of a Dynamically Partitionable Multicomputer System with Switchable Main Memory Modules (SM3). 1.2 - Performance Analysis of SM3. 1.3 - Simulation of Operations in SM3. 1.4 - Parallel Algorithms for Matrix Computations Using SM3. 1.1 - Architectural Design of SM3. The architecture of SM3 is based on three key concepts, viz., switchable memory, partitionable common bus, and global control lines.
