Methods and apparatus are described for measuring the volume of gaseous fuel samples, including liquefied petroleum gases, in the gaseous state at normal temperatures and pressures (60.0/sup 0/F and 30.000 in. Hg) and at complete water-vapor saturation condition for the gas. Three types of apparatus for measuring the gaseous sample that are described are containers, displacement type gas meters, and rate-of-flow type gas meters. The capacity, range of operating conditions, and calibration of the different types of apparatus are described in detail. (BLM)
