Standard method for analysis of reformed gas by gas chromatography

A gas chromatographic method is described for the determination of H/sub 2/, O/sub 2/, N/sub 2/, CO, CO/sub 2/, methane, ethane, and ethylene in reformed gases and similar gaseous mixtures. The components in the gas sample are physically separated, and the resulting chromatogram is compared with a chromatogram corresponding to components separated under identical operating conditions from a reference standard mixture of known composition. The column for separation is packed with molecular sieves. (BLM)
