Petroleum-product pricing around the world: international survey findins

Journal Article · · Energy Detente; (United States)
OSTI ID:7167137
The rationale for ED's international price and tax survey for the principal petroleum fuels is that markets are becoming more and more interdependent, as to prices and energy/economic policies. The rationale for comparing and averaging them all in this special Double Issue for a world average view is to graphically display more, fuel prices and policies are not only domestic matters. Oil-exporting countries' low internal-market fuel prices do have something to do with oil-importing countries' higher prices, as never before. This issue also contains the following: (1) the ED refining netback data for the US Gulf Coasts, Rotterdam, and Singapore fir mid-October 1987; and (2) the ED fuel price/tax series for countries of both the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, October 1987 editions. 9 figures, 7 tables.
