This is a three-volume report plus executive summary with recommendations that fulfills the reporting requirement of Title IV Section 403(e) of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986. The report contains a description of the research and program activities in Federal agencies; a comprehensive overview of the current level of knowledge and uncertainties associated with the issue of indoor air quality; and an identification of the major gaps and research needs in indoor air quality.
