Mirex: I. An overview. II. An abstracted literature collection, 1947--1976

Mirex, a chlorinated insecticide, is the active ingredient in bait used to control the imported fire ant (Solenopsis sp.). A total of 325 abstracted literature references is presented for the period 1947 to 1976 on the toxicity and environmental distribution of mirex. (CH)
