Structure of bimetallic Rh-Pd and Rh-Ir catalysts

X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic investigations of the bimetallic adsorbents Rh-Pd/SiO/sub 2/ and Rh-Ir/SiO/sub 2/ have been carried out. It has been shown that bimetallic adsorbents are complex systems, in which the interdiffusion of one metal into the other takes place and causes changes in the chemisorption properties.
