We perform a combined analysis of two stringent constraints on the two Higgs doublet model: one coming from the recently announced CLEO II bound on [ital B]([ital b][r arrow][ital s][gamma]) and the other from the recent CERN LEP data on the ratio [Gamma]([ital Z][r arrow][ital b[bar b]])/[Gamma]([ital Z][r arrow]hadrons). We include one-loop vertex corrections to [ital Z][r arrow][ital b[bar b]] in the model. We find that although the [ital b][r arrow][ital s][gamma] bound has been known to be the strongest constraint present in the charged Higgs sector of the model, the current LEP bound on [ital Z][r arrow][ital b[bar b]] can also provide additional constraints for tan[beta][approx lt]1.
