Rare kaon and [ital b][r arrow][ital s][gamma] decays in the two-Higgs-doublet model

We study rare kaon and [ital b][r arrow][ital s][gamma] decays in the two-Higgs-doublet model. We find that the branching ratios of the CP violating rare decays [ital K][sub [ital L]][r arrow][pi][sup 0][ital e+][ital e][sup [minus]] and [ital K][sub [ital L]][r arrow][pi][sup 0][nu][bar [nu]] can be enhanced relative to the standard model while that of the CP conserving ones [ital K][sub [ital L]][r arrow][mu][bar [mu]] and [ital K][sup +][r arrow][pi][sup +][nu][bar [nu]] are insensitive to the Higgs effect. We show that the experimental limit on [ital b][r arrow][ital s][gamma] could provide the strongest constraint on the Higgs model.
