Multiplicity of. gamma. rays and. pi. /sup 0/ mesons in inelastic interactions of protons with neon nuclei and nucleons at 300 GeV

Experimental data are presented on the multiplicities and inclusive cross sections of ..gamma.. rays in p/sup 20/Ne, pp, and pn interactions at 300 GeV. Correlations between the multiplicities of ..pi../sup 0/ mesons and charged particles are investigated. A comparison of the p/sup 2/Ne data with calculations according to the additive quark model and the intranuclear cascade model is made.
