Two new ApoB gene polymorphisms: Rs3 and Rs4

Journal Article · · Nucleic Acids Research; (UK)
2.0 kb fragment intestinal cDNA clone I subcloned in pUC18. RsaI digests identifies 7 fragments: 2.2, 2.0, 1.4, 1.2, 0.7, and 0.6 and 0.4 kb, spanning 12 kb of the ApoB gene. RsaI RFLP Rs3 detected at 1.6 kb and Rs4 at 2.4 kb. It was located on 2p23-24 by in-situ hybridization. 1.3 kb SstI fragment of I (2) 1 localizes Rs3 near exon 26. Rs4 similarly localizes near exon 26.
