This booklet was compiled to meet the increasing needs of industry, state, and Federal agencies and the general public for a condensed reference to the mining and mineral laws of Wyoming. It is a compilation of Wyoming statutes, along with pertinent portions of the Act of Admissions and the State Constitution, that pertain to the exploration, development, and restoration of Wyoming's mineral resources. An extensive subject index is provided along with an appendix that lists agencies that issue additional rules and regulations and who regulate and enforce the statutes. The original publication contains Wyoming statutes of 1957 and cumulative supplements of 1971 and 1973; then additions to the mineral laws of Wyoming for 1974, 1975, and 1976 are affixed.
