Detailed work plan No. 13: transformation of Phase A into Phase B
At the end of the Phase A experimental program the continuous-cylindrical blanket configuration of ZPPR-13A will be converted to the broken-cylindrical-blanket configuration of ZPPR-13B. This conversion will consist of replacing blanket drawers with fuel drawers in a series of steps to create gaps in the blanket rings. The reactor will be made for subcritical prior to any blanket/fuel exchanges. Flux distribution measurements will be made at each step using the 64 in-core fission counters.
