Observation of the tensor X(1810) meson in the central region of. pi. /sup -/N interactions at energy 300 GeV

Meson states produced in central ..pi../sup -/N collisions at momentum 300 GeV/c and decaying by the 4..pi../sup 0/ channel are investigated. Intensive production of X(1810) mesons, which are possible tensor glueballs, is observed.
