This paper reports on a new BaF[sub 2]-TMAE detector which has been developed which can simultaneously achieve 5ns timing, 5mm spatial resolution and 20% detection efficiency. The chamber can operate in a stable condition for periods of several hours. Results of projections imaging are also presented.
