Electromagnetic transitions in sup 43 K

Data on the level scheme of {sup 43}K will be presented. The nucleus was populated via the {sup 36}S ({sup 9}Be, pn){sup 43}K reaction, and {gamma}-rays were assigned to {sup 43}K on the basis of coincidence with {gamma}-rays already known to be in {sup 43}K. Several previously unobserved {gamma}-rays have tentatively been placed in the level scheme, and further analysis is proceeding. A brief discussion of other nuclei populated in this same reaction will be given, and plans for future analysis will be described.
