We have calculated the distribution {ital d}{Gamma}/{ital d}{phi} for the decay {ital K}{sub {ital L}}{r arrow}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}}{ital e+}{ital e{minus}}, where {phi} is the angle between the vectors normal to the {pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}} and {ital e}{sup +}{ital e{minus}} planes. The result can be written in the form {ital d}{Gamma}/{ital d}{phi}={Gamma}{sub 1}cos{sup 2}{phi}+{Gamma}{sub 2}sin{sup 2}{phi}+{Gamma}{sub 3}sin{phi} cos{phi}, where the last term is {ital CP} violating and involves the interference of the {ital M}1 component of {ital K}{sub {ital L}}{r arrow}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}}{gamma} with the bremsstrahlung component as well as a possible direct {ital E}1 component. Using data on the radiative decays {ital K}{sub {ital L},}{ital S}{r arrow}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup {minus}}{gamma}, we estimate an asymmetry in the {phi} distribution of (3.8{plus minus}1.4)%.
