Hydrogenation of coal of the Talbulag deposit in the Mongolian People's Republic

Experimental results obtained in the hydrogenation of the coal of the Talbulag deposit in the Mongolian People's Republic are given. The results obtained permit the coal of the Talbulag deposit to be regarded as a possible raw material for hydrogenation processing into liquid products. The catalysts used in the research programs consisted of ammonium molybdate and iron sulfate deposited by the impregnation method on coal ground to the less than 0.05 mm class from aqueous solutions of the salts. 2 refs.
