Unified control hardware for automated system for processing of photographs from large bubble chambers

This paper describes a system of PUOS2M and PUOS4 precision automated projectors that are equipped with unified control hardware based on a PDP-8E or Elektronika-60 computer (MC) operating on line with a DEC-10 central computer at the center for processing of photographs from large bubble chambers. A schematic diagram of the control module for the maps of a PUOS4 projector is shown. The results of development of unified electronic control hahrdware based on an MC with bus organization are beyond the narrow scope of the problem of automation of instruments for processing of photographs and can be used for automation of machine tools, physics and engineering apparatus, etc.
