A catalyst composition for hydrodewaxing and hydrocracking a hydrocarbon fraction is described comprising a mixture of one or more zeolites selected from the groups consisting of zeolite X and Y, the acid form of zeolite Y, and other natural or synthetic faujasites, a hydrogenation metal, and zeolite beta. The catalyst composition is described wherein the hydrogenation metal is one or more metals selected from the group consisting of Groups VIA and VIIIA. The catalyst composition is described wherein one of the zeolites is a rare earth-exchanged zeolite X. The composition is described further comprising a porous matrix material.
