Four papers and accompanying commentaries and discussion from a March 1982 conference sponsored by the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research examine natural gas policies and the issues which have developed over attempts to deregulate the industry. The papers deal with the effect of regulations on prices and markets, and make recommendations on the basis of their economic analyses. Separate abstracts were prepared for each of the four papers selected for the Energy Data Base (EDB) and Energy Abstracts for Policy Analysis (EAPA).
