The USNRL is one of nine laboratories participating in the USAEC Coordinated Program on Irradiation Effects on Structural Materials. Studies on the notch ductility of irradiated steels and on the effects of postirradiation heat treatment on notch ductility behavior are being conducted by the NRL Metallurgy Division as one part of this program.
