Comparison of adsorption parameters in different isotherms

The aim of this paper is to provide a method of interconversion for the adsorption isotherm parameters of organic compounds in different solvents and to propose a unified and rational scale for the standard free energies of adsorption under conditions including electrocatalysis. The method is tested against experimental data for the isotherms and heats of adsorption of naphthalene, hexadecane, and propyl, butyl, amyl, hexyl, and heptyl alcohols from water, methanol, and ethanol on remelted bismuth electrodes.
