Bottomonium production in [ital [bar p]p] annihilation

The cross sections for production of bottomonium states [chi][sub [ital b]], [Upsilon] as resonances in direct channel [ital [bar p]p] annihilation are estimated. It is shown that the observation of such states in [ital [bar p]p] annihilation by their decay products [chi][sub [ital b]][r arrow][gamma][Upsilon], [Upsilon][r arrow][ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] ([mu][sup +][mu][sup [minus]]) is realistic in experiments with an antiproton storage ring and a gaseous jet target at a luminosity [ital L]=10[sup 32] cm[sup [minus]2] sec[sup [minus]1] and a beam monochromaticity [Delta][ital p]/[ital p]=10[sup [minus]5].
