Multiplicity of charged particles in pp and p-barp interactions at 32 GeV/c

Data on the charged-particle multiplicity in pp interactions at 32 GeV/c have been obtained with a statistics of 21 000 events. The data are compared with data for p-barp interactions at 32 GeV/c, and the shape of the distributions is approximated by a negative binomial distribution. The parameters of the multiplicity distribution in p-barp annihilation are investigated.
