Multiplicity distribution of charged particles in p-barp interactions at 22. 4 GeV/c

Final results are presented on the topological cross sections for production of charged particles in antiproton-proton inelastic interactions at momentum 22.4 GeV/c, based on more than 260 000 photographs of the two-meter bubble chamber Lyudmila. A procedure is described for processing and combining results obtained in different laboratories which permits substantial reduction of the influence of systematic errors. The characteristics of the p-barp annihilation process are evaluated on the basis of the difference of the topological cross sections for p-barp and pp interactions.
