/sup 99m/Tc red blood cell venography in deep vein thrombosis of the leg: a correlation with contrast venography

/sup 99m/Tc red blood cell venography and contrast venography were performed in 35 patients with symptoms of deep vein thrombosis of the leg. The overall concordance rate between the modalities was 89%. /sup 99m/Tc red blood cell venography is a simple, accurate, and noninvasive procedure that permits the simultaneous assessment of the deep veins of both lower limbs.
