The glow discharge as an atomization and ionization device: Progress report, November 1, 1983-November 1, 1984

This progress report describes research which has been completed over the past 12 months of this project. We report here representative examples of the work carried out; reprints and preprints may be referred to for more complete details and documentation. Progress has been concentrated in two main areas: (1) laser resonance ionization mass spectrometry and (2) the hollow cathode plume as an emission and ionization source.
