Mountain Fuel Supply Co.'s private communications system makes use of selective calling, paging, remote control of base stations, mobile teleprinting, mobile data transmission, and the latest in dispatching techniques and equipment. In addition, Mountain Fuel makes heavy use of teleprocessing, especially in the area of customer service. For several years, the company has used a mobile teleprocessing system to transmit customer service orders to servicemen's vehicles. This system has evolved into sophisticated computer-controlled order dispatching.
