Structured translator from a high-level language

This paper offers a method of translator design which elaborates on the principles of modular and structural programming, syntactic controllability, and layer-by-layer translator design. The design method is built as a three-phase translation process flow based on independence of input and output translator languages, functional integration, and modularity. The independence of the input and output languages makes it possible to separate the system components affected exclusively by input or output language. The method is illustrated by APR-0-translator for a component of distributed multiprocessor computer system with macroconveyor data processing. Control processors group together sets of executive and control processors to organize parallel computations.
