Feasibility, design, and construction of solar stills are discussed in abstracts of reports from worldwide literature. Most abstracts deal with the construction of solar stills for the desalination of sea water; a few abstracts pertain to thermodynamic analyses, agricultural uses, and providing potable water for isolated residences or small communities.
