Feasibility, design, and construction of solar stills are discussed in abstracts of reports from worldwide literature. Most abstracts deal with the construction of solar stills for the desalination of sea water; a few abstracts pertain to thermodynamic analyses, agricultural uses, and providing potable water for isolated residences or small communities. Experience with the use of solar stills in various countries is covered. (This updated bibliography contains 94 abstracts, 5 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
