First results of ground-based FTIR measurements of atmospheric trace gases in north Sweden and Greenland during EASOE

This paper presents a preliminary summary of ground-based FTIR measurements of column densities of N[sub 2]O, CH[sub 4], CFC-12, O[sub 3], HNO[sub 3], ClONO[sub 2], HCl, and HF, from stations in Sweden and Greenland during EASOE. These measurements were interpreted in light of atmospheric measurements for these areas in the previous ten days, and stratospheric conditions, to account for atmospheric chemical aspects.
