Emphasis this quarter has been on preparation and submittal of topical reports for the regeneration, coal-caustic reaction studies and filtration tasks of the project and on the selection of a continuous cocurrent reactor for the 20 lb/hour modular Gravimelt Process unit. In addition, permission was received from the Department of Energy to initiate the Task 9 regeneration section scale-up activity which will result in construction and testing of a 20 lb/hour regeneration system which will ultimately be incorporated as a part of the 20 lb/hour Gravimelt Process modular test unit.
