Comparative tests of steam-jet and water-jet ejectors on the T-250/300-240 TMZ turbine

In a comparative test of steam-jet and water-jet ejectors removing the air-steam mixture from the condenser of the steam turbine, it was found that the water-jet ejectors provide lower pressure in the condenser than steam-jet ejectors. This is explained by the fact that in the jet of operating water in the water-jet ejector, steam is condensed and drawn off from the condenser together with air. The operation of the two types of ejectors is discussed.
