This paper presents the results of an investigation of the solid solutions with the general formula K /SUB 2+x/ Li /SUB x/ Pb /SUB 4-x/ Nb/sub 10/O/sub 30/. During the solid-phase synthesis in the system bounded solid solutions with the structure of the tetragonal tungsten bronze type are formed. The solid solutions correspond to two regions with rhombic and tetragonal structures, separated by a morphotropic phase boundary at x = 1.1. The introduction of the Li/sup +/ ions into the triangular channels of the structure of the tetragonal tungsten bronze causes strong smearing of the ferroelectric phase transition right up to vanishing of the anomalies at the Curie point.
