Glauber correction and double scattering on a relativistic composite particle at high energies

Elastic ..pi pi.. scattering at high energies is studied using the model of dressed quarks. The hadron relativistic wave functions with one of the components on-shell are used to obtain expressions describing double scattering processes at high energy. In the nonrelativistic limit the expression for the double scattering amplitude reduces to the corresponding formula of the Glauber theory. The real and imaginary parts of the scattering amplitude and the differential cross section for elastic ..pi pi.. scattering are calculated for t<2 GeV/sup 2/.
