The authors study the influence of the conditions of measurement on the resulting resistance levels to determine the specific electrical resistance of powdered SiC with different grain sizes (from 40 to 1000 um). The general plan of the equipment is shown and the relationship between the resistivity of the powdered SiC and the compressive pressure with a constant field force is presented. It is recommended that the method be introduced at factories which make the heaters for the delivery control of the main raw material -- green silicon carbide.
