Reflectivity spectra of Cd /SUB x/ Hg /SUB 1-x/ Se /SUB y/ Te /SUB 1-y/ solid solutions

Reflectivity spectra of Cd /SUB x/ Hg /SUB 1-x/ Se /SUB y/ Te /SUB 1-y/ solid solutions were studied and a method of composition determined for quaternary alloys based on the dielectric theory of chemical bonds was proposed. An example of such composition determination was presented. A good agreement with x-ray analysis is shown.
