Induction adhesive bonding

The induction adhesive bonding process is beginning to replace many spot welding processes in the automotive and appliance industry. The principles and equipment involved, the process itself, and test results of welded versus bonded assemblies are presented. Process advantages and limitations, as well as quality control requirements, are covered. Process advantages are explored for a variety of applications, along with the changes required for utilizing the process for bonding plastic to plastic components.
