Determination of sup 200 Pb, sup 204 Po, sup 208 Rn, sup 212 Ra, and sup 216 Th atomic masses by the sup 204 Pb(. alpha. , sup 8 He) sup 200 Pb

The atomic mass excesses of {sup 200}Pb, {sup 204}Po, {sup 208}Rn, {sup 212}Ra, and {sup 216}Th were determined to be {minus}26.262{plus minus}0.015, {minus}18.352{plus minus}0.015, {minus}9.667{plus minus}0.015, {minus}0.208{plus minus}0.015, and 10.287{plus minus}0.017 MeV, respectively. They were obtained from the measured {ital Q} value of {minus}28.043{plus minus}0.013 MeV for the {sup 204}Pb({alpha},{sup 8}He){sup 200}Pb (g.s.) reaction and the known alpha-decay {ital Q} values. The results were compared with some predicted values.
