Recent developments in the electroplated CdS/CdTe solar cell research

Thin film CdS/p-CdTe heterojunction solar cells with over 9% efficiency were produced. The cells were made using a cathodic electrodeposition technique. Solar cell parameters observed in these devices indicate the possibility of efficiencies in excess of 10%. Preliminary elevated temperature test results are also presented.
