Factors affecting the production rates of chain saws
Regression equations are presented in English and metric units for predicting felling and bucking times to produce sawlogs. Variables found to affect production rates significantly were cross sectional areas, tree length, number and size of limbs, distance between trees, ground slope, and underbrush density.
