A survey on the electron collision cross sections for SF{sub 6} with be presented for the following processes: elastic and inelastic scattering, ionization, attachment, and inner shell excitation. The energy range covered will be from 0 eV to 1 KeV. This survey will include previously published results and the author`s most recent measurements on ionization and attachment. Cross sections for the formation of SF{sub 5}{sup +}, SF{sub 2}{sup +}, SF{sub 2}{sup ++}, and SF{sub 3}{sup ++} have recently been measured. Cross sections for collisions leading to the formation of SF{sub 6}{sup {minus}}, SF{sub 5}{sup {minus}}, SF{sub 4}{sup {minus}}, SF{sub 3}{sup {minus}}, SF{sub 2}{sup {minus}}, F{sub 2}{sup {minus}}, and F{sup {minus}} have also measured and compared with previously published results.
